★★★☆☆ 3.5/5 – Convenient & Affordable Dining Near Dadar Station Shapoor Restaurant – Dadar East, Mumbai Located just a short walk from Dadar Railway Station (East), Shapoor Restaurant is a no-frills, casual dining spot offering a mix of North Indian, Chinese, and Mughlai cuisine. What I Liked: Convenient Location: Right near Dadar East station—ideal for a quick meal or casual dine-in before/after your commute. Variety of Cuisine: A good mix of North Indian and Chinese. I tried their Butter Chicken and found it flavorful and well-prepared. Affordable Pricing: Budget-friendly rates make it great for everyday meals. Prompt Service: Even during busy hours, food was served without long delays. What Could Be Better: Ambiance: Clean but very basic. Don’t expect a fancy setting—more functional than aesthetic. Small Portions for Extras: Items like extra sambar with Udid Wada felt limited. Some Inconsistencies (as per reviews): While my experience was smooth, online reviews mention occasional issues like undercooked rice or delayed service. Overall: If you’re looking for a quick, filling, and affordable meal near Dadar, Shapoor is a solid choice. It’s not a place for ambiance lovers or fine dining seekers, but it gets the job done for everyday comfort food. Recommended for: Office-goers, travelers, and locals looking for casual dining.
The restaurant is just near dadar station. Quality of food was good. The environment was ok. Overall good. But the price is a little bit expensive according to my experience. Otherwise I love the food.
